Writing Tool: Do Not Stop Writing is a browser-based writing productivity tool designed to encourage continuous writing. Depending on the selected mode and settings, text may be automatically deleted when a user stops typing for a specified period. Text selection, copying, and exporting features are disabled during an active writing session, and only become available once you complete your selected goal.
dropdata File Sharing: The dropdata utility is a serverless, peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing tool that enables direct transfer of files between browser tabs using WebRTC. No file size limits apply, and files are not uploaded to any server.
The Service is provided free of charge unless otherwise stated.
2. User Responsibility
By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:
You are responsible for exporting or saving your work once the goal is successfully met.
You understand that text selection, copying, and exporting are disabled during the active writing sprint.
You understand that text may be automatically deleted if you stop typing.
You use the Service at your own risk.
You are solely responsible for any content you create, share, or submit through the Service.
You are solely responsible for all files you share using the dropdata tool, and you warrant that you have the right to transfer such files and that they comply with applicable laws.
Once you successfully complete your selected writing goal, we strongly recommend exporting or downloading your completed work immediately.
3. Data Loss and Transfer Disclaimer
A core feature of Do Not Stop Writing is the automatic deletion of text when writing stops. Furthermore, file transfers via dropdata depend on WebRTC and browser stability.
By using the Service, you acknowledge that:
Text may be permanently removed based on your selected settings.
Accidental loss of content or file transfer failure may occur due to inactivity, connection timeouts, browser crashes, device failures, internet issues, or user actions.
We do not cache, store, or recover any files or text. We are not responsible for recovering deleted, lost, or unsaved content/files.
Always maintain your own backups of important documents and data.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to disrupt, damage, or interfere with the Website or its servers.
Reverse-engineer, copy, scrape, or reproduce the Service without written permission.
Upload or distribute malicious software, viruses, or harmful code.
